How the money moves holds few surprises here: you deposit with Bancontact or Bancontact Pay, and what comes out lands on your account. The rename from Payconiq to Bancontact Pay dates from March 2026.
Bancontact Pay allows €1500 per payment, with €2500 as the daily limit. The stake lands without delay; on your account it usually appears after one to three banking days, on top of the processing time on the operator's side.

What the law imposes
The Belgian framework around player protection is above the European average in strictness and you feel it on the first deposit. By default €200 per week per site may go in.
EPIS is the Gaming Commission's central exclusion system: whoever registers is barred everywhere immediately, online as well as offline. Unlicensed sites are not connected to it. Under-21s have been shut out of casino, hall and betting since September 2024; for the National Lottery 18 remained the rule. The check is automatic.
